High speed - installation (microfilters)

A microfilter is a device which allows the ADSL signal and the regular phone signal to share the same line. Typical analogue devices include phones, caller ID boxes, fax machines, satellite TV dialers, analogue modems, answering machines, security systems, etc. If a microfilter is not used, interference between the telephone and the high speed modem may result.

Use the following steps to connect the microfilters included with your High Speed Internet Kit.

Step 1: Connect microfilters

Connect the microfilter between your phone or analogue device and the wall jack, as shown below.

Note: Do not connect your ADSL modem through a microfilter - your high speed Internet connection will not function if you do.
