How to find your MAC address (Mac OS X)

These instructions are specific to Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther). Other versions may differ slightly. Mac OS X 10.0 is not supported.

1. Go to "System Preferences..." from the Apple menu, or click the System Preferences icon if it is in your dock. The System Preferences window will be displayed.

   

2. Click on the Network icon and select Built-in Ethernet from the Show menu.

   

3. Click on the Ethernet button.

   Your MAC address is the number displayed next to Ethernet ID.
