Dial-up and roaming access numbers
Dial-up access involves using any of TELUS' local access numbers available in B.C., Alberta, Ontario or Quebec to access the Internet.
Your dial-up usage is deducted from the monthly hours included in your Internet plan. Charges ($1.50/hr) will occur if you exceed the allotted amount of hours.
Roaming is when you log onto the Internet from outside the TELUS network, using a TELUS Internet roaming partner. You are considered to be roaming when you access the Internet from areas outside B.C., Alberta, Ontario or Quebec.
You will be charged a per-hour rate when roaming. The hours you use while roaming are not deducted from the dial-up access hours included in your plan. Note: Some TELUS High Speed plans have roaming access hours included. These are not charged an hourly rate until the monthly limit has been exceeded.
