How do I set up my Twitter on TV account?

Can I browse the Interactive Programming Guide when I am logged in to the Twitter app on my TV?
No. You can’t access your guide when using the Twitter app but you can still change channels by pressing the channel up/down buttons on your remote.
Can I use my PVR controls when I am logged in to the Twitter app on my TV?
Yes. If you are watching a recorded program, you can use your PVR controls when logged in to the Twitter application.
Can I hook up a keyboard or Xbox remote to type?
No. You can only use your Optik TV remote control to navigate to the letters on the screen to post a tweet on the Twitter app.
If I am using the Twitter app on my TV, can I log on with my computer or smartphone?
When you are logged in to Twitter on TV, you can also concurrently log on to your account via a computer and /or smartphone.
I have forgotten my PIN, how do I reset it?
If your PIN is entered incorrectly 5 times, the PIN is reset and you’ll be sent an email to the email address you have provided with re-authentication instructions.
How do I delete an account?
You may delete your own account at any time by pressing the "logout" button, then "remove profile". Alternatively, if you have parental controls set-up, you may remove any profiles on the digital box.
What do I need to view Twitter on my TV?

Can I continue to watch my show while I use the Twitter on TV app?
Yes. With Twitter on Optik TV you can continue to watch your program while you use the app to view and share Tweets about the show you are watching.
How many accounts can be created?
You can create 5 accounts per household, and you can use the app on up to 6 TVs at one time. Each TV must be connected to an Optik TV digital box.
Can I post Tweets while watching TV?
Yes. You can share what you are watching on Optik TV or post a Tweet up to 140 characters long.
What are TV Tweets?
TV Tweets are Tweets related to the show you are watching. Due to the nature of Twitter not all Tweets will be completely relevant. You can view TV Tweets only while watching Live TV and is not avaialble on recorded programming
What are Trends?
Trends are the most popular topics being discussed on Twitter at any given moment. By highlighting these topics in the app you will see a stream of the latest Tweets discussing these Trends.
Can I block inappropriate Tweets?
Due to the nature of Twitter and social media, inappropriate Tweets may appear from time to time. If you are concerned a particular channel may present inappropriate Tweets you can just block that channel by setting your Parental Controls. Blocked channels will not display any Tweets when you use the TV Tweets feature.
Why are Tweets limited to 140 characters?
Twitter requires that all Tweets are limited to 140 characters. This is by design and is a limitation found in any other Twitter client.
Can I view photos or external links from Twitter on Optik TV?
No, the app will only display text from Tweets.
How do I exit the sleep mode?
Twitter will go into a sleep mode if there has been no activity in 30 minutes. Once it is in sleep mode, you can exit and return to the Twitter app by pressing either OK or any of the arrow keys. If you press any other key, you will exit the app and would need to relaunch it if you want to use it again.
