Voicemail CRTC Regulation Change

Voicemail is no longer subject to Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) regulation. As a result it now falls under the TELUS Terms of Service - these terms have been updated to reflect this. To learn more about our Terms of Service and what this change means for you, please visit:

TELUS price changes

To reflect ongoing added value in our services and regular increases in costs, TELUS is implementing the following price increases this summer:

TELUS High Speed Internet price change

Starting June 12, 2012, the regular monthly rate for TELUS High Speed Internet service will increase by $3 per month. If you are currently in a Rate Protection Plan, you will not be affected by this increase until your term expires.

TELUS home phone price changes

Starting Aug 14, 2012, the following price changes will apply:

• The monthly rate for the Home Phone plus 1 calling feature package will increase by $2.00.
• The monthly rate for the Home Phone basic, basic (no high speed), and lite packages will increase by $2.05.
• The monthly rate for the Home Connections bundle 1 will increase by $3.00.

TELUS Satellite TV price changes

If you subscribe to the following TELUS Satellite TV packages the following price changes apply effective June 12, 2012:

• The monthly rate for the Sportsnet World package will increase by $2.03.
• The monthly rate for the Mega Cosmos channel will increase by $2.54.
• The monthly rate for the RAI International channel will increase by $1.02.
• The monthly rate for the U.S. Network Time Shifting Package will be increasing. If you subscribe to this pack, you may see an increase of up to $2.03.

Optik TV price changes

Starting July 10, 2012, the price of Optik TVTM theme packs will increase to $9 per month. The following prices will apply for our TV combos:

• The Medium TV Combo will be priced at $59 per month
• The Large TV Combo will be priced at $74 per month
• The Your Pick TV Combo will be priced at $81 per month, and will now be called the Large choice TV combo
• The All In TV Combo will be priced at $132 per month

Good news! Also starting July 10, 2012, you will no longer be charged for your HD theme packs. This will not impact your current channel selection.

Optik TV™ channel changes

Iran TV Network on channel 535 has changed to Jaam-e-Jam. The programming will be unaffected but the name and logo will be changing.

Effective May 7, 2012, Fox Sports World on channel 120 will no longer be available. The channel will be removed from the Sports Extra theme pack and will not be available for purchase as an individual channel. The other channels in the Sports Extra pack will be unaffected. If you are subscribed to the individual channel it will automatically be removed from your account and you will no longer be charged. To see our full programming line-up visit telus.com/channels.
