What to expect
A TELUS technician will:
- Call to confirm your appointment time shortly before your scheduled appointment
- Install all of your TELUS services at your new address, unless previously discussed that you will be self-installing your Internet services**.
Note: Your services will be disconnected at your old address early on your move-in date, unless otherwise instructed.
Be available for the appointment
Someone over the age of 18 needs to be at the location during the appointment arrival window and throughout the entire installation. They should know where you would like your services installed.
Please have your television placed where you would like the technician to connect it. TV services cannot be installed without the TV present.
Take everything with you
Bring all cables and equipment for your TELUS services to your new address; including modems, Ethernet cables, remotes, and PVR/digital box(s). If you are adding new services, we will bring your digital box(es) and any other equipment required.
Setting up your Internet
If you've made an installation appointment, your technician will set up your Internet for you. If you're self-installing, refer to the Movers package sent to your old address for simple setup instructions, or download them here. Keep in mind that your service may not be working until midnight the day of your install. For further assistance, visit telus.com/support or call us at 310-TECH (8324).
** Your TELUS technician can set up all inside wiring necessary to connect your TELUS services; however we do not provide custom fishing of wires through your wall(s).
