The Graduate Technology Leadership Program (GTLP) is a progressive, one-of-a-kind rotational technical and leadership skills development program designed to help you chart your own unique career path.

Choose a stream and start building your skills

Structure your career path by selecting from five rotational streams.

Within each stream, you’ll work in Agile and DevOps teams, gain exposure to advanced technologies and develop competitive skills in software development, cloud-native platforms, data science and analytics, and smart communities design. 

While building technical skills, you will have opportunity to gain experience in UI/UX design, graphic and web design, design thinking, Figma, TELUS branding, leadership and collaboration.

Software-defined networking / Network function virtualization (SDN / NFV)

Help re-envision our large networks as virtualized, cloud-based software designed to foster sustainability and improve the customer experience while gaining exposure to various network protocols and design methodologies. 

Participate in network automation innovation projects and help shape future network architectures.

Help develop pioneering cybersecurity and privacy solutions designed to protect Canadians from the full spectrum of online threats.

Gain skills in predictive analytics, security information and event management, identity and access management, and more.

Emerge with a solid understanding of the entire lifecycle of wireless delivery – from real estate strategy to network deployment.
