1. What is TELUS TV?

   TELUS TV is a 100% digital entertainment service that allows you to customize your in-house entertainment services. With TELUS TV you get automatic access to TELUS Video On Demand, and can build a TV package from a list of more than 200 channels.

2. Will TELUS TV affect my telephone line?

   No.

3. Will I be able to watch digital television on my existing TV?

   Yes. TELUS TV uses a TELUS TV Box to receive the digital signal and convert it into a format that will work with your existing TV set. This allows you to receive programs broadcast on digital channels.

4. How many channels can I receive on TELUS TV?

   TELUS TV offers more than 200 channels of programming. The actual number of channels you can view depends on the channel packages you have chosen.

5. Why can't I access all the channels?

   The channels you have access to depends on the TELUS TV package(s) that you have signed up for. Push the guide button to cycle through all channels, subscribed channels and up to four favourites lists (if you have pre-programmed it).

6. Why is TELUS entering the television market?

   TELUS customers are looking for choice in full service entertainment providers. This new service is part of the overall TELUS commitment to provide integrated solutions to customers.

7. What technology enables TELUS TV?

   TELUS delivers TV service over its existing network. This access network is being aggressively upgraded throughout Alberta and British Columbia in order to provide TELUS subscribers with a wide variety of broadband services.

8. Will TELUS offer HDTV?

   Yes. TELUS plans to offer service in high-definition television (HDTV) format in the future, as more HDTV programming is made available.

9. When will TELUS TV be available in my area?

   We will be contacting you when TELUS TV becomes available in your area, unless you have advised us not to contact you for marketing purposes. If you wish to change your current 'contact' status to allow TELUS to market to you, please call our regular customer service line at 310-2255.
