How to cancel or delete your Business Connect® account (and back up your data)
To cancel your TELUS Business Connect® account, you must be the company admin or account owner.
Note
: If you have a contract, you may be responsible for service cancellation charges as defined in your contract.
Once you back up your company and user data as described below, call or chat with Business Connect Support by calling
1-844-626-6638
to cancel your account. They’ll ask you for the following information:
The main phone number associated with your company account
Your account number (BAN) from your bill
Your PIN
Note
: Once your account has been deleted, it cannot be reactivated without recreating the entire account.
What happens when you cancel your Business Connect plan
Your Business Connect phone numbers will be disconnected
All call logs and messages stored in your online account will be deleted
You will no longer have access to all of the Business Connect apps
Your company and individual Business Connect information will be removed, including call forwarding rules, custom voicemail greetings, answering rules, user extensions list, etc.
Your Business Connect contacts will be deleted
What to do before cancelling
You may want to save your company and user data before cancelling. As a Business Connect company admin, you’ll need to back up the data for your entire company, but you’ll also need to ask your users to save their data.
Backing up your company data
When you’re the Business Connect company admin, you can download the following:
Company user extension list
Company IVR Menu configurations
Call recordings from each user using Business Connect Archiver
Note
: The Business Connect Archiver only backs up data generated on or after the day Archiver was set up. If you have Business Connect Archiver but have not set it up, your users will have to download their call recordings manually.

Suggest to each user that they download and save any data they want to keep before you call or chat with Business Connect Support
Select whether you'll be using Business Connect Archiver to back up your data
Backing up your data using Business Connect Archiver:
You will be able to download the following:
Call recordings
Voicemails
Text messages
Faxes

The Business Connect Archiver only backs up data generated from the day Business Connect Archiver was set up.
Business Connect Archiver won’t back up your users’ call history or their personal contacts list. Let your users know how to download these manually.
