What you need to do before you transfer your number to TELUS Business
Before you begin the number porting process, please ensure the following:
Once the transfer is complete, your phone number will be cancelled with your old service provider.
Note
: You’ll also remain responsible for any outstanding device balance or service agreement from your old service provider.
Transferring a non-Koodo or Public Mobile number
For Canadian numbers, excluding Koodo and Public Mobile: Follow these steps below to complete the

Note
: Keep your device with your old SIM (or eSIM) nearby and keep your number active with your old service provider until you complete the transfer. You’ll need it to verify your transfer request.
