Installing your Smart Light Bulb

: The light socket or lamp must always be in the position to prevent malfunction notifications on your system. Brightness can be adjusted through your TELUS SmartHome app or Control Panel.

Once your Smart Light Bulb is installed in your desired light socket or lamp, the light bulb can be turned on/off and the brightness level can be adjusted remotely via your TELUS SmartHome app or via the web portal. If you have a Control Panel, you can also control the Smart Light Bulb using the on-board screen and menu options.

Some models of Smart Light Bulb come with an included switch blocker. The switch blocker can be used to lock your light switch when it's in the "On" position. This will work for traditional style light switches and flat switches.

If your model did not include a switch blocker, these can be purchased separately through third-party websites.
