Setting up and managing reports and notifications for Enterprise Groups
Learn about how to set up and manage notifications and reports to stay on top of business activities across your TELUS Secure Business Enterprise Group.
The Enterprise Groups feature lets you monitor your business locations through notifications and Smarter Business Reports, giving you visibility into all your locations from anywhere. This article goes over how to set up, manage and change your Enterprise Groups notification and reporting settings.

By setting up notifications, you stay informed about your business’ activities even when you’re away. You can manage notification settings via the TELUS Secure Business web portal. Notifications can be configured so that recipients get alerts about all locations in your Enterprise Group.
Here’s how to create or edit notifications via the TELUS Secure Business web portal:
Check that the name of your Enterprise Group is selected and not a location name. When the Enterprise Group is selected, a
Locations
option appears in the menu instead of
Home
. If a location is selected, use the dropdown menu to select the Enterprise Group:
Enterprise Groups have the following icon next to the Enterprise name:
Commercial accounts have the following icon next to the location name:
Residential accounts have the following icon next to the location name:
If the option to select an Enterprise Group is not appearing, verify your account (i.e. user login) has access to the Enterprise Group
Click
Notifications
Click
+ New Notification
and then select the type of notification you want to create (e.g.,
Alarm
,
Arming Event
,
System Event
, etc.)
Note
: To edit an existing notification, click the following icon next to the desired notification:
There is no limit to the number of notifications you can set up or the number of recipients for each notification. Enabling or disabling notifications is easy. Just use the toggle on/off button next to each notification
Next, enter a name for the notification
Select the locations you want to be alerted about:
Under
Locations to include in the notification
, select
All Locations
to get notified about all locations or select specific locations by clicking on
Only the following locations

: The ability to include select locations is only available with Business Activity Analytics notifications (i.e.
Occupancy + People Counting

Crowd Gathering
and

to select notification recipients in the address book or click

to add a new address book entry

: When you set up notifications for all locations, recipients will get alerts from every location in the group. If a user wants to receive notifications from just one location, you'll need to set up notifications at the single-system level. How to add notification recipients
You must add users to each notification you want them to receive. There is no limit to the number of users that can be added to receive a notification. You can manage notification recipients via the TELUS Secure Business web portal or app.
Here’s how to configure notification recipients using the TELUS Secure Business app:
to create a new notification or click the following icon to update an existing notification:

to select notification recipients
Select the users in the address book to be notified or click
New
to add a new address book entry

: If the desired communication channel (e.g. phone, email, SMS) is not listed under the recipient, you can add it to their user profile. Learn more about
To edit an existing report, tap the following icon next to the desired report:

Select the locations you want to include in your report:
