How to update your pre-authorized payment information for TELUS Business customers
Add pre-authorized payments online
Once you’ve set up pre-authorized payments, you’ll never have to worry about paying your bill on time. You can make your payments by credit card, Visa Debit or through your checking account.
Adding new pre-authorized payments through My TELUS
Choose the account for which you want pre-authorized payments to be set up or updated.
From the right-hand side of the page under
Balance
select
Manage pre-authorized payments
.
To update or change pre-authorized chequing account, select
Switch to chequing account
.
To update or change credit card on file, select
Update credit card
.
Enter the required information and click on
Confirm
.
Your updated pre-authorized payment information has now been added to your account.
Note
: It may take up to one full billing cycle for pre-authorized payments to take effect. If you have an outstanding balance on your account, it is recommended that you make a one-time credit card payment to avoid late charges.
Automatic updates for your Visa or MasterCard
Some Visa and MasterCard issuers automatically update your credit card details when they change, such as when your card expires or is replaced. This ensures you have seamless, uninterrupted payments.
These automatic updates are a service provided by participating card issuers and are not managed by TELUS.
To learn more about automatic card updates, please contact the bank or financial institution that issued your card.

: Automatic updates are not guaranteed, so we still recommend updating your card details manually before your card expires.
