Customers who sign up for Control Video + Video on a 3 or 5 year service agreement, are eligible to receive up to $1,300 in rental equipment. Included equipment is provided to TELUS SmartHome Security customers as part of the recurring monthly fee. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Purchased or rental equipment can be repaired or replaced with parts or equipment that are not original equipment manufacturer, refurbished or new, at our sole discretion.
Applies to regular price of all TELUS SmartHome Security (“SHS”) plans excluding Smart Camera. SHS plans require either a 3-year or 5-year term, except Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, which only qualify for a 3-year term. Available to existing TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid consumer customers who have not subscribed to SHS services in the past 90 days. Customers with an active consumer TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid account will receive a discount of $10/month for the duration of the term. Discounts are applied on the SHS plan and TELUS reserves the right to remove any applicable discounts if the customer no longer meets discount eligibility requirements. Minimum system requirements apply. Equipment may not be as shown. Final eligibility for the services will be determined by a licensed and certified TELUS technician. A cancellation fee applies for early termination of the 3-year or 5-year service agreement equal to $10/month for the Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, and $35/month for the Secure and Control plans, multiplied by the number of months remaining in the service agreement (with a partial month counting as a full month), plus applicable taxes. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Professional installation fee of $175 applies for all professionally installed plans. Additional installation fees may apply for extra equipment. A $100 kit fee is charged on self-install orders and is 100% refundable when service is activated within 30 days of order. This includes installation of automation and security devices, app installation and a walk-test where required. Once your service is activated you will be notified by email within 5 business days that the kit fee has been automatically refunded to your bill. (Offer ends January 8th, 2025).

Available to residential customers who have not subscribed to TELUS SmartHome Security in the past 90 days. Offer subject to change without notice. Bill credit will be applied upon order completion and will appear on your first bill after activation. Bill credits are non-transferable, can only be applied to pay for services charges, and carry no cash value after deactivating your services. If service is cancelled within 90 days, any credits will be reversed and the amount will be charged to you in addition to any applicable cancellation fees. Credit provided is discretionary and includes applicable taxes (based on the taxes levied in the province of supply) therefore the value displayed on your bill is the value before tax. For example, a $10 discretionary credit towards Internet service offered in BC includes $0.62 PST and $0.45 GST, meaning the credit value displayed will be $8.93. Prices and offers are subject to change without notice. The selection of equipment included in the package is subject to stock availability. Adding additional equipment may incur additional installation costs. At the end of the 3-year agreement, the amount for the Smart Automation Plus plan is $900 (regular price : $1,260), that for the Secure plan is $1,332 (regular price : $1,692), that for the Control + Video plan is $1,944 (regular price : $2,304). At the end of the contractual agreement, the current plan price will apply. Local permit fees and additional charges may apply in municipalities where the services of a patroller are required to verify alarms. These costs are the responsibility of the customer. If the service is canceled, the equipment provided as part of the package must be returned in good condition, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account.
