Customers who sign up for Control Video + Video on a 3 or 5 year service agreement, are eligible to receive up to $1,300 in rental equipment. Included equipment is provided to TELUS SmartHome Security customers as part of the recurring monthly fee. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Purchased or rental equipment can be repaired or replaced with parts or equipment that are not original equipment manufacturer, refurbished or new, at our sole discretion.
Offer applies to regular price of all TELUS SmartHome Security (“SHS”) plans excluding Smart Camera. SHS plans require either a 3-year or 5-year term, except Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, which only qualify for a 3-year term. Available to existing TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid customers who have not subscribed to SHS services in the past 90 days. Customers with an active TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid account will receive a discount of $10/month. Discounts are applied on the SHS plan and TELUS reserves the right to remove mobility discounts if the customer no longer meets eligibility requirements. Current regular pricing can be viewed at telus.com/homesecurity. Offers and regular pricing subject to change without notice. Regular price of SHS plans are: $18/ month for Smart Camera plan, $33/month for Smart Automation Plus plan, $47/month for Secure plan, $57/month for Secure Plus Video plan, $57 /month for Control plan and $67/month for Control plus Video plan. On select eligible plans, receive a promotional discount of $5 off/month for the duration of the agreement (Smart Automation Plus, Secure, Secure and Control plans), Control Plus video will receive an additional $7 off /month, for a total discount of $12 off/ month. Regular price of SHS applies after 36 or 60 months. Cannot be combined with other SHS promotional offers. Minimum system requirements apply. Equipment may not be as shown. Final eligibility for the services will be determined by a licensed and certified TELUS technician. A cancellation fee applies for early termination of the 3-year or 5-year service agreement equal to $10/month for the Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, and $35/month for the Secure and Control plans, multiplied by the number of months remaining in the service agreement (with a partial month counting as a full month), plus applicable taxes. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Professional installation fee of $150 applies for all professionally installed plans and customers who subscribe to 1 or more of the following services: post-paid TELUS Mobility, SmartHub or High Speed Internet. The professional installation fee for all other customers is $450. Additional installation fees may apply for extra equipment. A $100 kit fee is charged on self-install orders and is 100% refundable when service is activated within 30 days of order. This includes installation of automation and security devices, app installation and a walk-test where required. Once your service is activated you will be notified by email within 5 business days that the kit fee has been automatically refunded to your bill. Offer ends January 8th, 2025.
A 3- to 5-year agreement is required. Customers with an active postpaid TELUS and Koodo mobile account can get a rebate of $10 per month. Applicable taxes extra. Prices and offers are subject to change without notice. The selection of equipment included in the package is subject to stock availability. Adding additional equipment may incur additional installation costs. At the end of the 3-year agreement, the amount for the Smart Automation Plus plan is $900 (regular price : $1,260), that for the Secure plan is $1,332 (regular price : $1,692), that for the Control + Video plan is $1,944 (regular price : $2,304). At the end of the contractual agreement, the current plan price will apply. Local permit fees and additional charges may apply in municipalities where the services of a patroller are required to verify alarms. These costs are the responsibility of the customer. If the service is canceled, the equipment provided as part of the package must be returned in good condition, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account.
