PrescribeIT® supports virtual patient care

Send e-prescriptions to the pharmacy without using traditional fax or eFax. When in-person visits are not possible or advisable, prescriptions can be sent electronically to the patient’s pharmacy, and pharmacies can request renewals from the prescribing doctor.

Send whole patient medication picture

Transmit a prescription with key patient information such as demographics, allergies, contraindications, height and weight so the pharmacist has the patient’s complete medication picture and can alert you of any problems or concerns.

Manage eRenewals in patient chart

Requests for renewals from the pharmacy appear on the patient’s record, where you can accept, deny or modify them. If a patient’s regimen or dosage is changed by another prescriber, you’ll be informed. Updates are automatically made to the patient’s file. Renewals are matched to the patient profile by drug ingredients for additional clinical clarity.

Monitor and promote adherence

To help you monitor patient adherence, PrescribeIT® can inform you if a prescription has been dispensed and how often. Telling the patient that the prescription has been sent to the pharmacy also encourages the patient to pick it up.
