for complete details. New devices come with a 12-month limited manufacturer’s warranty covering defects. Device Care Complete is optional coverage for new and bring-your-own phones, covering accidental damage, loss/theft, and post-warranty malfunctions. Device Care BYOD (for bring-your-own phone activations) and Device Care Connected (for new smartwatches/tablets) are optional coverage for accidental damage and post-warranty malfunctions. The program is underwritten by the Canadian Branch of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Quebec (in Quebec #2000472276). Asurion, or its affiliate, is the agent, and Canadian Specialty Services Corporation is the claims administrator. A service fee/deductible will apply for approved device repair or replacement claims. A maximum of 2 claims are permitted within a 12-month period, with coverage up to $3,500 per claim. Claims may be fulfilled with a new or refurbished product.
Repair or replacement eligibility determined at time of claim approval. In select areas, eligible devices may receive next-day repair based on claim approval time, parts‌ and technician availability. All repairs and replacements, including but not limited to cracked front screen and battery replacement count toward the claim limit. For eligible flip and foldable phones, cracked front screen repairs are $39, and inner screen and back glass repairs are subject to the “All Other Repairs” service fee.
