You want to do-it-yourself. If you are comfortable with basic home repairs and using a ladder, you can self-install. Install your system on your own time with our online guidance and call-in support if you need it.

We can do it for you. Our professional technicians will safely install your order wearing PPE for the entirety of the install. $100 installation fee for certain customers, $450 for new customers.³

$100 bill credit only available to online orders of TELUS SmartHome Security, except Smart Camera plan, on a 3 or 5 year term. Available to residential customers who have not subscribed to TELUS SmartHome Security in the past 90 days. Offer subject to change without notice. Bill credit will be applied upon order completion and will appear on your first bill after activation. Bill credits are non-transferable, can only be applied to pay for services charges, and carry no cash value after deactivating your services. If service is cancelled within 90 days, any credits will be reversed and the amount will be charged to you in addition to any applicable cancellation fees. Credit provided is discretionary and includes applicable taxes (based on the taxes levied in the province of supply) therefore the value displayed on your bill is the value before tax. For example, a $10 discretionary credit towards Internet service offered in BC includes $0.62 PST and $0.45 GST, meaning the credit value displayed will be $8.93. The $0.62 PST and $0.45 are captured as reductions in the amount of tax charged on your balance owing. Offer applies to regular price of all TELUS SmartHome Security (“SHS”) plans excluding Smart Camera. SHS plans require either a 3-year or 5-year term, except Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, which only qualify for a 3-year term. Available to existing TELUS or Koodo Mobility postpaid customers who are also subscribed to at least 1 TELUS residential service, and have not subscribed to SHS services in the past 90 days. Customers with an active TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid account will receive a discount of $10/month. Customers with an active eligible home service will receive a discount of $5/month. Discounts are applied on the SHS plan and TELUS reserves the right to remove mobility or home solutions discounts if the customer no longer meets eligibility requirements. Regular price of SHS plans are: $30/month for Smart Automation Plus plan, $42/month for Secure, $52/month for Secure Plus Video plan, $52 /month for Control plan and $62/month for Control plus Video. Control Plus Video plan will also receive an incremental $7 off/month. Cannot be combined with other SHS promotional offers. Minimum system requirements apply. Equipment may not be as shown. Final eligibility for the services will be determined by a licensed and certified TELUS technician. A cancellation fee applies for early termination of the 3-year or 5-year service agreement equal to $10/month for the Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, and $35/month for the Secure and Control plans, multiplied by the number of months remaining in the service agreement (with a partial month counting as a full month), plus applicable taxes. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Installation fee of $100 applies for customers subscribed to 1 or more of the following services: TELUS postpaid mobility, SmartHub, High Speed Internet or Koodo postpaid Mobility. The professional installation fee for all other customers is $450. Additional installation fees may apply for extra equipment. A $100 kit fee is charged on self-install orders and is 100% refundable when service is activated within 30 days of order. This includes installation of automation and security devices, app installation and a walk-test where required.
