Customers who sign up for Control Video + Video on a 3 or 5 year service agreement, are eligible to receive up to $1,300 in rental equipment. Included equipment is provided to TELUS SmartHome Security customers as part of the recurring monthly fee. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Purchased or rental equipment can be repaired or replaced with parts or equipment that are not original equipment manufacturer, refurbished or new, at our sole discretion.
Cannot be combined with other SHS promotional offers. Minimum system requirements apply. Equipment may not be as shown. Final eligibility for the services will be determined by a licensed and certified TELUS technician. A cancellation fee applies for early termination of the 3-year or 5-year service agreement equal to $10/month for the Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, and $35/month for the Secure and Control plans, multiplied by the number of months remaining in the service agreement (with a partial month counting as a full month), plus applicable taxes. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Professional installation fee of $175 is waived for all professionally installed plans. Additional installation fees may apply for extra equipment. A 3- to 5-year agreement is required. Customers with an active postpaid TELUS and Koodo mobile account can get a rebate of $10 per month. Applicable taxes extra. Prices and offers are subject to change without notice. The selection of equipment included in the package is subject to stock availability. Adding additional equipment may incur additional installation costs. At the end of the 3-year agreement, the amount for the Smart Automation Plus plan is $900 (regular price : $1,260), that for the Secure plan is $1,332 (regular price : $1,692), that for the Control + Video plan is $1,944 (regular price : $2,304). At the end of the contractual agreement, the current plan price will apply. Local permit fees and additional charges may apply in municipalities where the services of a patroller are required to verify alarms. These costs are the responsibility of the customer. If the service is canceled, the equipment provided as part of the package must be returned in good condition, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Savings amount is the average of the maximum savings amounts on home and auto insurance for TELUS SmartHome Security customers who bundle their home and auto insurance, are deemed to be experienced drivers with clean driving records as per Sonnet’s underwriting rules, and who qualify for Canadian university alumni, conviction-free, multi-vehicle, and winter tires discounts, where available. Savings amounts are not guaranteed and will depend upon each individual’s insurance profile. Sonnet Insurance offers online home and auto insurance to residents of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and P.E.I. In B.C. and Alberta we offer online home insurance. Alberta auto insurance quotes can be obtained by emailing us an application, and eligible customers can bind online. Unfortunately, we’re not able to service Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador and the territories, or B.C. auto insurance customers at this time.
