| Select the user's current name. Enter the desired first and last name.

To add or edit a user code | Select the "Panel access" and/or "Lock Access" icon to choose the device the user will have access to. In "Access code", enter the desired user code. ( Note : If you are adding a new user, you may need to save at this point to access further steps.) Select Save . Allow a few minutes for the system to update before testing the new user code.
Note : You can create users with temporary access by selecting Actions > Add temporary user through the TELUS SmartHome App. Tap on the panel or locks icon to add or edit the access code. A new access code can also be generated by selecting Generate code . Toggle the user access to the specified devices. Tap Save . Allow a few minutes for the changes to send to the device, and then test the user code

To add contact information. | Tap + Add Contact . Then select either: Mobile number : Allows the user to be set up with SMS text notifications to their phone. In Mobile number (SMS) , enter the user's phone number. Using the Country dropdown menu, select the country the mobile number is from. Using the Carrier dropdown menu, select the cellular provider of the mobile number.
Note : SMS (text notifications) is only available in certain countries. If the user lives outside of Canada or the United States, we recommend using push notifications instead. Email address : Allows the user to be set up with email notifications. In Email address enter the user's email address. Using the Email format dropdown menu, select the format the user would like to receive email notifications (i.e., HTML, email format or plain text).

To remove contact information | In Contact information , click to select the email address or mobile number to remove. Select Delete for the contact information to be removed. Select Delete a second time to confirm deleting the contact information.

To pause or resume notifications to an email address or number | In Contact information , click to select the email address or mobile number to edit. Tap on the enabled toggle switch to disable or enable the contact information.

To modify the language the user receives notifications in | Select Language preference . Click to select the user's language preference.

| From your panel, select Menu . Select Advanced Settings . Select User Management . From here, you can change your duress codes.
