Inside wiring of your TELUS network

Learn about inside wiring and your responsibilities for its maintenance and repair.

Both TELUS and our customers share the responsibility for the maintenance and repair of different wiring. TELUS maintains the telecommunication lines and network that are outside your home or business. As your service provider, TELUS also sets up, verifies and maintains the connection from this network to our network interface device (NID) or optical network terminal (ONT). This is usually a box located on the outside of your home.
