Moving: What to do with your TELUS equipment

You will have one of the following gateways. In most cases, devices like modems and routers are located in a central area of your house, such as a living room, home office, media closet or utility room. Look around these areas to see if your equipment is there. Take this with you.

You may have this ONT (often mounted on wall). If so, leave this behind.

You may have Boost Wi-Fi or a Wi-Fi extender. If so, take this with you.

You may have a Switch or a MoCA. If so, take this with you.

You will have one of the following gateways. Take this with you.

You may have a unit installed outdoors (if applicable). If so, take this with you.

You may have Boost Wi-Fi. If so, take this with you.

TELUS Boost Wi-Fi.

Additional TELUS parts and accessories to take with you:

J Arm for Outdoor Unit only.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) for Outdoor Unit only.

Ethernet cables for Outdoor Unit only.

A/C adapter for Outdoor Unit, Indoor Unit and/or TELUS Boost Wi-Fi.

You may have one of the following PVRs. Take it with you, unless it has a TELUS label on it and is secured in place with a metal band.

You will have one of the following Set Top Boxes. Take it with you.

You will have one of the following remote controls. Take it with you.

You will have some of the following cables. Take it with you.

You may have a TELUS TV Digital Box, Apple TV, Nvidia Shield or Android Media box and remote controls. Take these with you.

Remember to pack your panel and equipment safely in a box that is easily accessible on your installation day.

Please be aware that customers are solely responsible for any damage to the equipment arising out of their or any third parties' actions and of any applicable repair or replacement fees.

You will need to bring all the equipment listed below to your new address. TELUS will not replace this equipment if it is not available to install at your new address.

If you have equipment that is difficult to uninstall, you may choose to leave this equipment for the next homeowner.

: You are responsible for moving all equipment that you own. TELUS will not replace any personally owned or easy-pay equipment that is left behind during your move.
