Every Peace of Mind rate plan enables endless data and unlimited nationwide calls and text for one flat rate. What this means is that you will never have to worry about data overages again. Use your endless data to search, stream, play and stay connected wherever you go. Peace of mind plans are ideal for all high data users such as single device users.

Users who want to share high speed data with one connected product (Peace of Mind Connect), users who need to share high speed data with 2 connected products (Peace of Mind Connect Plus), and users who need to share high speed data with 3+ connected products (Peace of Mind Connect Ultra).

In the unlikely event you reach your high-speed data threshold within your bill cycle, video quality will be reduced and other high-speed applications will take longer to load. However, you will still have access to endless data without the worry of seeing Canadian data overage charges on your bill. You can still use your phone as you did before with little noticeable difference for most activities. Once your bill resets, your video and other high speed applications will go back to regular quality.

Peace of Mind Plans allow you to use as much data as you like while in Canada and never be charged data overages. After your plan’s high-speed threshold, TELUS will reduce the maximum speed for the remainder of your billing cycle. This is to ensure that TELUS maintains an exceptional network experience for all of our customers.

Peace of Mind Connect plans are part of the suite of Peace of Mind plans that include endless data and no overages. However, on a Peace of Mind Connect plan, users can share their endless data with all their connected products including their tablets, watches and Drive + for $0 by adding a Peace of Mind Access Plan to their account. Peace of Mind Plans are not intended for users to share data with other users on the account. These plans are intended for customers who want the peace of mind of knowing they have enough data for themselves to last until the end of their bill cycle.

However, on a Peace of Mind Connect plan, customers can access and share their endless data with all their connected devices. When multiple users are on a Peace of Mind connect plan the whole accounts gets to maximize their data by pooling and sharing all the data together, to ensure all users have the same high speed experience.

On all of our Peace of Mind plans, you can mobile hotspot within a certain range so that friends and family can use your data. Data usage for mobile hotspotting is available up until the Peace of Mind threshold.

We still offer Simple Share plans for customers who still need to share data with other users on the account. For these customers, we continue to offer TELUS Data Manager which gives full control over your account’s data management.

Yes, you can either switch to a CAN/US Peace of Mind plan option that lets you access your endless data while travelling to the United States or you can take advantage of our Easy Roam offerings.

Yes, we will still notify you when you’ve reached your high-speed threshold so you’re not surprised by any changes to video quality and slower loading for other high-speed applications. If multiple users are on Peace of Mind Connect plans, all your data will be pooled together for the optimal experience and we will only notify you once you have reached your combined high-speed threshold.

If you share data with other people on your account and are the data provider, by changing to a Peace of Mind Plan, you will leave the remaining people on your account without a data bucket to use. To prevent this, another person on your account must purchase a Simple Share plan or everyone must pay off their device balance and move over to a Peace of Mind plan.

If you currently share a data bucket from another person on your account, by changing to a Peace of Mind plan, you will no longer be able to share that data bucket, and instead have your own data bucket to use for yourself. The monthly data available on the shared plan for the remaining subscribers will stay the same.

Peace of Mind Plans are only available for new and renewing customers. However, customers under contract can easily switch to a Peace of Mind plan by paying off 100% of their current device balance.

Yes, you qualify for our TELUS Family Discount on a Peace of Mind plan, including Peace of Mind Connect plans. Our TELUS Family Discount makes it easy to keep the whole family connected for less. If you have 2 more subscribers on a Simple Share and/or Peace of Mind plan, each person on the account receives a monthly discount off their rate plan. The multi-unit discounts provide automatic savings to everyone on the account who is on a Simple Share and/or Peace of Mind rate plan. There is no effort to you as the customer as the discounts are automatically applied to your monthly bill. The more people you have on your account, the more generous the discount.
