SmartHome Security equipment ownership policy

Effective as of April 05, 2021

Security equipment provided in a TELUS Security Bundle is the property of TELUS and must be returned to TELUS within 14 days from the cancellation of your Security services.

However, the following devices are exempt and do not need to be returned:

  • Smoke detectors

  • Locks

Any equipment you purchase outright belongs to you and does not need to be returned.
