2. Log in with your My TELUS credentials and select the __+__ icon or scan the QR code found in the Quick Start guide to start your setup.

__Issue: Cannot attach the Network Access Hub cover__

Check to make sure the power cable is clipped into place and hanging down.

- Ensure the power cable is pushed all the way into the Network Access Hub. 
- Ensure the power cable is connected to an outlet.
- Try another outlet. 

__Issue: I cannot connect the fibre patch cable__

Check that the dust covers are removed from the fibre patch cable and Pluggable Fibre Terminal.

Align the notch on the fibre patch cable with the notch on the pluggable fibre terminal or green coupler on the wall plate before inserting.

If your Network Access Hub is in a central location like a living room, connect the Boost Wi-Fi 6 to the Network Access Hub using an Ethernet cable.

If your Network Access Hub is not in a central location like a media panel, please follow these steps:

1. Look for an Ethernet or coax cable with a triangle label nearby.
2. Connect it to the Network Access Hub to enable your central Wi-Fi jack.
3. Then, connect the Boost Wi-Fi 6 to the central Wi-Fi jack.

If you have a Boost Wi-Fi 6 or Boost Wi-Fi 6E: 
1. Power on your Boost 6E Mini close to your Boost Wi-Fi 6.
2. Connect the Boost 6E Mini to your Boost Wi-Fi 6 with an Ethernet cable to sync them.
3. Wait for the LED on the Boost 6E Mini to turn solid green. If you see a slow pulsing green, that is fine as well. This can take up to 3 minutes.
4. A firmware upgrade may take place at this time. The LED will flash purple and the Boost 6E Mini will reboot once this is complete and the LED will turn solid green. If you see a slow pulsing green, that is fine as well. This may take 5 to 10 minutes. 
5. Remove the Ethernet cable and unplug your Boost 6E Mini from power.
6. Move your Boost 6E Mini closer to the area of your home where Wi-Fi coverage is needed and power on. Connect to a nearby Ethernet wall outlet if available.
7. If successful, the Boost 6E Mini LED will turn solid green. This can take up to 5 minutes. If the LED is not solid green, refer to the [LED status light indicators](https://www.telus.com/support/article/troubleshooting-boost-6e-mini#led-status-light-indicators) section to resolve. 

If you have multiple Boost 6E Mini devices and a TELUS Wi-Fi Hub modem:
1. Power on your first Boost 6E Mini close to your modem and plug it directly into the TELUS Wi-Fi Hub via Ethernet.
2. Leave your first Boost 6E Mini to set up automatically. Setup will be complete when your LED turns solid green. This may take 5 to 10 minutes. If the LED is not solid green, refer to the [LED status light indicators](https://www.telus.com/support/article/troubleshooting-boost-6e-mini#led-status-light-indicators) section to resolve.
3. Power on the second Boost 6E Mini and plug it directly into the TELUS Wi-Fi Hub via Ethernet as well.
   - If successful, this LED will flash green before going solid green. If you see a slow pulsing green, that is fine as well.
   - If unsuccessful, this LED will go solid red. 
4. A firmware upgrade may take place at this time. The LED will flash purple and the Boost 6E Mini will reboot once this is complete and the LED will turn solid green. If you see a slow pulsing green, that is fine as well. This may take 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Unplug your second Boost 6E Mini and move it closer to the area of your home where Wi-Fi coverage is needed and power on. Connect to a nearby Ethernet wall outlet if available.
6. If successful, the Boost 6E Mini LED will turn solid green. This can take up to 5 minutes. If the LED is not solid green, refer to the [LED status light indicators](https://www.telus.com/support/article/troubleshooting-boost-6e-mini#led-status-light-indicators) section to resolve.

If you have multiple Boost 6E Mini devices and an Advanced Wi-Fi Modem (T3200M):
1. Power on your first Boost 6E Mini close to your modem and plug your Boost 6E Mini via Ethernet into the Ethernet switch that is plugged into the Advanced Wi-Fi Modem (T3200M). This Ethernet switch should have been provided by your technician.
2. Leave your first Boost 6E Mini to set up automatically. Setup will be complete when your LED turns solid green. This may take 5 to 10 minutes. If the LED is not solid green, refer to the [LED status light indicators](https://www.telus.com/support/article/troubleshooting-boost-6e-mini#led-status-light-indicators) section to resolve.
3. Power on the second Boost 6E Mini and also plug it into the Ethernet switch that is plugged into the Advanced Wi-Fi Modem (T3200M).
   - If successful, this LED will flash green before going solid green. If you see a slow pulsing green, that is fine as well.
   - If unsuccessful, this LED will go solid red. 
4. A firmware upgrade may take place at this time. The LED will flash purple and the Boost 6E Mini will reboot once this is complete and the LED will turn solid green. If you see a slow pulsing green, that is fine as well. This may take 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Unplug your second Boost 6E Mini and move it closer to the area of your home where Wi-Fi coverage is needed and power on.
6. If successful, the Boost 6E Mini LED will turn solid green. This can take up to 5 minutes. If the LED is not solid green, refer to the [LED status light indicators](https://www.telus.com/support/article/troubleshooting-boost-6e-mini#led-status-light-indicators) section to resolve.

Troubleshooting your Boost 6E Mini / Set up your Boost 6E Mini

You can use the following information to troubleshoot during or after installation, if required.

__No colour:__ Check if the power cable is plugged into the Boost 6E Mini and power outlet.

__Solid red or flashing blue:__ Your Boost 6E Mini is not connected to the network.
   - If your Boost 6E Mini is wired to the modem, then check your Ethernet connection
   - If a flashing blue LED persists, try re-pairing your Boost 6E Mini with the Boost Wi-Fi 6 connected to the modem. [Set up your Boost 6E Mini](https://www.telus.com/support/article/troubleshooting-boost-6e-mini#set-up-your-boost-6e-mini).

__Solid white:__ No action required. Your Boost 6E Mini is starting up. It may take up to five minutes for your Boost 6E Mini to complete setup. This process is complete when the LED is a solid green.

__Flashing purple:__ Your Boost 6E Mini software is updating. Do not turn off your Boost 6E Mini during this time. The LED will turn solid green when finished.

__Solid green:__ No action required. Your Boost 6E Mini has a good Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.

__Flashing green:__ No action required. Your Boost 6E Mini is connecting to your home network. This process will take about 10 seconds. 

__Slow pulsing green or slow pulsing blue:__ Your Boost 6E Mini is working, but is too close to another Boost device which can cause interference. Try moving one of the Boost devices further away to optimize performance.

__Flashing white:__ Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) mode. Within two minutes of pressing the WPS button, press the WPS button on the device you wish to connect. If LED turns red for 10 seconds, pairing has failed; try again. If LED turns white for 10 seconds, pairing was successful.

__Solid blue:__ Your Boost 6E Mini is working but has a weak signal. Moving it closer to the Boost Wi-Fi connected to your modem will improve performance.

__Solid amber:__ Your Boost 6E Mini is working, but one or more Wi-Fi radios are disabled.


Troubleshooting your Boost 6E Mini / LED status light indicators

1. Check that there are lights on the Boost 6E Mini
2. Reboot Boost 6E Mini by unplugging the power cable for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in
3. Confirm that the power cable at the Boost 6E Mini and power outlet are connected
   - If the customer is connected to a power strip, check that other devices connected to that device also work
   - If the customer is connected to a wall outlet, have the customer make sure it's not connected to a wall switch
4. Try another wall outlet.


Troubleshooting your Boost 6E Mini / My Boost 6E Mini is not working

If you're experiencing speed issues with your Boost 6E Mini, try these troubleshooting techniques:
1. Move closer to your nearest Boost 6E Mini
2. Reboot your wireless device (example: laptop, mobile phone)
3. Ensure the LED light on your Boost 6E Mini is solid green. If the light isn't green, please refer to the section "LED status light indicators” above
4. On the back of your Boost 6E Mini, unplug the cable labeled “Power (reboot)” and plug it back in to reboot your Boost 6E Mini”
5. To further optimize your home Wi-Fi, try these directions to [understand and optimize your Wi-Fi performance](https://www.telus.com/support/article/understanding-wifi-performance).

Troubleshooting your Boost 6E Mini / My network speed is slow

__Note:__ Factory resetting your Boost 6E Mini will revert your network name and admin password to the defaults shown on the front of the unit.

1. Press and hold the pinhole factory reset button for five seconds and then release it. If successful the LED of the extender will flash red 
2. Proceed to set up your Boost 6E Mini. [Set up your Boost 6E Mini](https://www.telus.com/support/article/troubleshooting-boost-6e-mini#set-up-your-boost-6e-mini). 

__When to factory reset?__
In case your Boost 6E Mini fails to connect and all other troubleshooting is unsuccessful, please try the following, as applicable to your situation:
<p>
__Situation 1:__ At least one Boost 6E Mini is disconnected (showing red LED):
   - Factory reset the connected Boost 6E Mini unit(s) as per the factory reset steps above
   - Factory reset any Boost 6E Mini unit showing a red LED individually
   - Recheck the Ethernet connection of the Boost 6E Mini hardwired to your modem (if using an Ethernet connection)
   - Next, rename your network name.
<p>
__Situation 2:__ All the Boost 6E Mini units are connected (no red LEDs). Non-red LEDs will reset together
   - Factory reset the connected Boost 6E Mini devices as per the factory reset steps above.

- Log in to the __TELUS Connect app__ using your username (registered email address) and password for your My TELUS account
- The TELUS Connect app will guide you through the steps to connect to your Boost Wi-Fi, enter the admin password and set the Boost Wi-Fi’s name. Wait for the LED light to turn from solid purple to flashing blue to flashing purple to solid blue. This may take up to 5 minutes
- The first Wi-Fi booster needs to be hardwired to the modem after installation
- Pick a location halfway between your modem and an area of poor or no signal to place the second Wi-Fi booster. Follow the TELUS Connect app’s instructions for installing the second Boost. Wait for the LED light to turn from solid purple to flashing blue to flashing purple to solid blue. This may take up to 5 minutes.

- Once your new Wi-Fi booster is installed, it will appear on the TELUS Connect app’s Network screen

1. Ensure that you have installed your previous TELUS Wi-Fi Boosts from the Starter Pack. The TELUS Connect app will guide you through the installation process
2. From the top menu of the app, go to __Settings__ and select __Add another Wi-Fi Boost__
3. Without unplugging your first Wi-Fi Boost, connect your new Wi-Fi Boost to your modem using the Ethernet cable provided. If your modem has no vacant ports, you may temporarily disconnect one non-Boost connection to enable the Boost install
4. Wait for the LED light to turn from solid purple to flashing blue to flashing purple to solid blue. This may take up to 5 minutes. __Note__: This step transfers your existing Boost Wi-Fi network settings to your new Wi-Fi Boost
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each additional Wi-Fi Boost you install

This article can be useful when you’ve already got some or all of the TELUS equipment at your disposal. If you are awaiting equipment, your self-install kit should arrive within three to five business days of when you placed your order.

You can track your order through Canada Post with the tracking number included in the order confirmation email with the subject "Confirmation of changes to your TELUS account" or the one sent by SMS to your account’s contact information.


Actiontec T3200 modem installation / Kit delivery

The self-installation process for PureFibre High Speed Internet access normally takes around 30 minutes, but may vary and can take longer. 

As a reminder, installing a new gateway or replacing an existing gateway will result in a change of Wi-Fi settings (SSID and Passphrase) in your internet setup. Be sure to connect all of your devices to the new network once you are done with the gateway setup.


Actiontec T3200 modem installation / Self-installation

__Warning__: To prevent risks associated with fibre optics, always handle with care and make sure to never look at the end of the cable. Always point the end of the fibre optics cable towards the ground.

__Warning__: Additional precautions must be taken when working near an electrical panel. TELUS recommends that a certified electrician be hired if electrical work needs to be done.

__Actiontec T3200M__ 
In order to install your modem, you must use the Ethernet cable included in your kit to connect the white WAN Port on the Actiontec T3200M to the Data 1 or LAN 1 on the Nokia or Alcatel Fibre Terminal. __Optik TV subscribers__: Once the TELUS gateway is activated, you can proceed to [install your PVR Drive](https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/optik-tv-self-install). Only after your PVR Drive is initialized should you continue with the install of your Optik TV Wireless Digital Box(es) for each of your TV sets.

1. 3. Wait until the Internet and Wi-Fi lights are both green.

4. 5. Installing this new modem has changed your current wireless network settings (name and password). If you changed the settings on your old equipment and want to restore it in order to avoid having to reconfigure all of your equipment, [download the TELUS Connect app](https://www.telus.com/en/internet/my-wifi-app) and configure the name and password from your previous wireless network

To change an existing TELUS modem, please follow the steps below first.

1. Locate your current modem
2. Disconnect all cables connected to the existing modem. 4. To change an existing fibre terminal, please first follow the steps below. 

1. Locate the fibre terminal. It is often located near the electrical panel
2. Disconnect all cables connected to the existing fibre terminal while making sure to always point the end of the fibre connector towards the ground

4. Remove the protective plastic cap from the tip of the green connector

7. Open the door where the fibre connector port is located on the back of the TELUS Wi-Fi Hub
