Installing your TELUS TV Digital Box / Video on how to set up your TELUS TV Digital Box

1. The TELUS TV Digital Box Quick Install Guide
2. All included equipment:
    - TELUS TV Digital Box
    - Power Supply
    - TELUS Remote with AAA batteries
    - HDMI cable
3. Your TV and TV manufacturer’s remote
4. Your Wi-Fi network name and password. [Retrieve your login information](https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/change-your-wi-fi-networks-name-and-password) if you've lost or forgotten it
5. Optional: An ethernet cable if not connecting your TELUS TV Digital Box via Wi-Fi
6. Optional: Your Google account username and password

__Important:__ You must sign in to your Google account to the Google Play Store and be able to download apps onto your TELUS TV Digital Box. If you do not have a Google account, you can learn more about getting one at [support.google.com](https://support.google.com/).

__Note:__ If you are not automatically logged into your TV app during the first installation, you may need to log in manually using your My TELUS or Koodo username and password. Please visit [telus.com/MyTELUS](https://telus.com/mytelus) or [Koodo Mobile](https://www.koodomobile.com/login) to get your username and password if you’ve forgotten it.

Getting started with your TELUS TV Digital Box / Equipment you will need before installing

Reboot your TELUS TV Digital Box from the Home screen: 

- Navigate to __Settings__ → __Device Settings__ → __Device Preferences__ → __About__ → __Reboot__

Factory reset your TELUS TV Digital Box from the Home screen: 

- Navigate to __Settings__ → __Device Settings__ → __Device Preferences__ → __Factory reset__

If your TELUS TV Digital Box is unresponsive, you can factory reset the box manually by using a paperclip to press and hold the ‘__Factory Reset__’ button on the back of the box for a minimum of five seconds and follow the steps on screen.

__Note:__ Performing a factory reset will erase all data from your device’s internal storage, including your Google account, any app data and settings including stored usernames and passwords as well as any downloaded applications.

To change an existing 4K HDR PVR, please follow the steps below first. 

1. Disconnect all cables connected to the existing PVR

2. Connect the power of your 4K wireless digital box with the cable provided

6. When the screen illustrated appears, press and hold the WPS button on your modem for 10 seconds. The Wi-Fi indicator will flash to indicate that synchronization is in progress. This may take a few minutes

7. A message will appear on the screen confirming that the synchronization has been successfully completed. Connection bars appear on your wireless digital box
