TELUS Wise Campaigns

TELUS Wise has launched several impactful campaigns to raise awareness and promote online safety.

#EndBullying

This campaign focuses on addressing cyberbullying and promoting kindness and empathy online. It encourages individuals to take a stand against cyberbullying by sharing positive messages, supporting those who experience cyberbullying, and fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.

#HowWouldUFeel

Most sexting-related campaigns and messages focus on the initial sender of the sext, ignoring the point where the most harm is done—when sexts are forwarded without the original sender’s consent. Taking and sending sexts is a risky behaviour in itself, but there is never an excuse to share or forward a sext you receive to someone else. #HowWouldUFeel discourages the common “culture of sharing” among youth, where someone shares another person’s intimate images with other people.

#SmartSocial

Developed in partnership with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police, Smart Social is intended to help youth stay safe online and be smart on social media. This campaign addresses common issues youth deal with today, like cyberbullying, sexting and screen time, and offers tips on how to safely navigate our digital world.
