Helping you stay safe and connected in times of crisis

Our top priority is keeping our customers, team members and communities connected, informed and supported during and after emergencies that affect them.

To achieve this, we have enabled $300 million in cash donations, in-kind contributions, and investments since 2000, to plan, respond and aid those impacted by natural disasters and other crises worldwide.

Supporting those impacted by wildfires in Canada

In response to the wildfires and natural disasters across Canada, TELUS is supporting those affected through local relief efforts.
What we are doing

  • Ensuring access to emotional support through a free community crisis hotline provided by TELUS Health®. The Community Crisis Support line can be reached at
    1-844-751-2133
    in Canada.
  • Providing support through our commitment of $100,000 to GlobalFire, Parachutes for Pets, Food Banks Alberta, Jasper Community Team Society‌ and Northern Alberta Resiliency Fund.
  • Offering adult and youth disaster kits at evacuation centers containing essential items such as emergency blankets, reusable water bottles, plus colouring and sticker activity booklets with crayons.
  • Keeping TELUS SmartHome Security services active so customers can still remotely monitor their homes.
  • Proactively crediting home services fees for TELUS customers in government-issued evacuation order areas.
