How to fix signal issues with your SmartWear Security device
Follow the steps here to resolve issues with sending signals for help with your SmartWear Security device.
Please follow the steps below to fix your SmartWear Security accessory when it's not successfully sending signals to your emergency contacts or the TELUS monitoring team.
Check and unpair the SmartWear Security device
Confirm the charm did not get wet. If so, you will need to order a replacement
Go to your phone’s
Bluetooth
settings and confirm if the invisaWear accessory is showing as
Not Connected
Select
Remove/Forget
Re-pair the SmartWear Security device
From the
Home Page
, go to the menu by selecting the 3 bars in the top left-corner, and then select
Connect Device
Select
Add Device
Press the back of the charm once briefly to pair the device again. If this does not work, press and hold the back of the charm for 15 seconds
You will be prompted to send a test alert to confirm it is working, by briefly pressing on the back of the invisaWear charm
