Home Phone intercom explained

Learn how to call someone in the same house with two phones.

When you have two phones at home, in two different rooms, there is nothing easier than speaking to another person in the house without budging from where you are. Learn how to conveniently call someone in the same house with two phones by following the steps below.

How to call

  1. Pick up the receiver, dial your own phone number and then hang up

  2. As soon as the ringing stops, pick up again. You will now be connected to the other person (If the ringing does not stop, pick up for a few seconds and hang up. The call will be cancelled.)

Note:
Intercom works with two phones plugged into the same access line. This service is compatible with voicemail programmed not to forward calls on busy signal, where technology permits.
