Download TELUS Health MyCare from your app store. Once you have successfully downloaded the app you will need to click on the app icon on your device.

You will need to enter some basic details: Name, preferred email address, date of birth and your membership code in the ‘I have a code’ box. Once your account has been activated, you will receive a confirmation email from TELUS Health MyCare.

Doctor appointments are covered by your public health insurance plan. If you do not have provincial coverage, doctor appointments are $70 per visit. Those covered under our TELUS Health MyCare for Business plan have counselling available at no cost to you. For dietitian appointments, please check with your employer.

Like any doctor you’ve seen in the past, our doctors can help treat a wide variety of health conditions. After seeing a doctor, you will be given a treatment plan. This might include referral for a face-to-face appointment, or to a hospital for tests, or to see a specialist.

We recommend seeing a doctor in-person if you require a physical examination or for issues concerning restricted medication. For medical emergencies, please call 911.

TELUS Health MyCare™ Business from TELUS Health MyCare is our exclusive solution for employees that includes additional features not available in our consumer product. These include features such as virtual consultations with dietitians and mental health counsellors.

The additional features in TELUS Health MyCare™ Business are available to all eligible employees and up to 4 registered dependents. Check with your employer to make sure you are covered.

Children under 16 years of age will need to be added to your TELUS Health MyCare account. Once you have downloaded and registered within the app, go to the tab, select the icon on the top-right corner and tap .

If a dependent under the age of 16 years has a doctor consultation, the parent or guardian needs to be present during the video consultation.

Mental health counselling appointments are available for those 16 years and older as the care we are able to provide to support youth over video consultations may be limited. If you are 16 or 17 years old, your counsellor will spend the first 10 minutes of your first appointment discussing terms of confidentiality.

However, parents are welcome to book an appointment for advice on how to best support a child’s mental health at any time.

Employees can register with the TELUS Health MyCare app at any point during the year.

If you received a membership code from your employer and you don’t have a TELUS Health MyCare account yet, you can enter it directly when you sign up.

Yes, all of our practitioners will conduct appointments from a private space. To ensure privacy on your side, please find a quiet and well-lit space where you feel comfortable and won’t be disturbed. All appointment records are encrypted and accessible only to you and members of the TELUS Health MyCare senior support team overseeing your care, for the purpose of ensuring exceptional quality of service.
