Parental controls on your Optik PVR and Wireless Digital Box
How to create a control PIN (personal identification number) plus program blocking options.
Parental controls allow you to block programs by channel, rating and content.
- For HD and 4K PVR or Digital Box users, parental controls must be set up on each of your digital boxes with your PIN
- For TELUS TV Digital Box and TELUS TV+ app users, Parental PINs are specific to each account, and can only be set up by the admin profile
- You’ll also need this PIN to modify your settings, view blocked content or change your PIN
