About Pay Per View
Pay Per View features events from boxing, wrestling and UFC. PPV events air at specific times and can be ordered on your digital box from channels
997
and 998
in Alberta and British Columbia, and 454
and 455
in Quebec.PPV events can be ordered up to
10 to 12
days before the start of the event, as well as at any point during the scheduled run time of the event. You can pause for up to 15 minutes, as well as rewind up to 30 minutes, or until the point at which you tuned into the event, whichever comes first. You can also jump forward up to the Live point.
Due to restrictions by the content providers, you will not be able to restart from the beginning of the event. Recording is also disabled for Pay Per View events.

How to purchase and watch a Pay Per View event on your TELUS TV Digital Box
You can use your digital box to pre-order a PPV event up to 10 to 12 days in advance or order it at any point during the event. To find an event, you may either search for the event by name, sport or participant using the search function or by finding the event in the program guide.
To order a PPV event using the program guide:
- Press theGuidebutton on your TELUS TV Remote.
- Navigate to channels997and998in British Columbia and Alberta or channels454and455in Quebec in the program guide.
- Using the left and right buttons on the D-Pad, scroll to the event that you are interested in and pressOK.
- If the event is in the future, selectPre-order for $XXand pressOK. If the event is airing now, selectOrder for $XXand pressOK.
- If there are multiple airings of the same event, you will be prompted to select which date you would like to purchase the event for.
- SelectBuy nowand pressOK.
- If you have a Purchase PIN on your account, you will be prompted to enter it.
- The PPV event will now inform you the time and date of the start of the event.If the event is in progress, select
Watch nowand pressOK.
- You can find pre-ordered events in thePurchasesrow on your Home screen.
How to purchase a Pay Per View event on your Optik PVR or Wireless Digital Box
To order a Pay Per View event, please follow the steps below:
- Press theguidebutton on your remote and navigate to channels997and998in Alberta and British Columbia, or channels454and455in Quebec.
- Scroll to the right using your right arrow button to find the event you wish to purchase. Select the PPV event you wish to purchase and pressOKto enter the ordering screen.
- Navigate toRent for $and selectOK.
- If you have a Purchase Pin on your account, you will be prompted to enter it now.
- A rental confirmation message will appear on your screen.
- Purchased PPV events are available on all TELUS HD and 4K PVR and Digital boxes in the household.

: To cancel a PPV event, you must contact us one hour prior to the start of the event.Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel a PPV event?
If the event has already started airing, it cannot be cancelled. If the event has not started it may be canceled by contacting customer care up to an hour before the event starts. During the ordering process you will be presented with Buy now
or Cancel
options to confirm your purchase after selecting Pre-Order
