Set up Critical Alert notifications

If you use an iOS device (i.e. an iPhone or iPad), you can opt-in to receive Critical Alert notifications in the event of an emergency. is a special push notification classification available on iOS devices that plays a sound and sends alarm notifications, even if your iOS device is muted or in Do Not Disturb mode.

: This feature is only available for iOS devices that are on version 12+ and running the TELUS SmartHome app version 4.11.3 or above.
