Severe Weather Alerts on your SmartHome Security panel and app

Severe weather warnings are issued by Environment Canada and provide real-time alerts directly to the panel or your SmartHome app when a severe weather warning is issued near the location of your home. These severe weather alerts can be paused from the section on the website or SmartHome app.

Pausing severe weather alerts prevents new alerts from being sent to the panel. Any severe weather alerts sent before pausing the notification must be acknowledged at the panel.

: The Severe Weather Alert notification cannot be deleted or edited. It can only be paused and unpaused.

: Alert silencing is only available for IQ2 (fw 2.7 or greater) and IQ4 (fw 4.1 or greater) panels.

Once the weather alert has been identified and you’ve taken measures to ensure your safety, you can clear the weather alerts to stop the beeping.
