Most smart devices in the home (e.g. Wi-Fi–enabled appliances, light bulbs, home assistants, speakers) only support the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band and issues can occur when these devices attempt to connect on the 5GHz Wi-Fi band.

Here are three options to set up or troubleshoot most issues with connecting your smart devices to your Wi-Fi.
