Hayu on TELUS Subscription Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your Hayu (“Hayu”) subscription with TELUS.

The Hayu service is operated by Universal Pictures Subscription Television Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under registration number 05942255 (“NBCUniversal”). Hayu is a trademark of NBCUniversal and its affiliated entities registered in Canada and other countries and regions.

Hayu is a video subscription service that allows subscribers to stream certain video content on compatible devices via the Hayu app or the hayu.com website. Visit hayu.com to see programming availability and regular pricing, which is subject to change without notice.

Your use of Hayu is subject to the Hayu Terms of Use, available at
hayu.com/terms
, which is an agreement between you and NBCUniversal. Please ensure you read and understand that agreement before subscribing to Hayu through Koodo. Additionally, you acknowledge that your use of the Hayu service is subject to the Hayu Privacy Policy, available at
nbcuniversal.com/privacy

Hayu subscription activation is required via Hayu.com/Koodo where you will need to register a personal account and accept the Hayu Terms of Use and Hayu Privacy Policy prior to using the service. By accessing Hayu, you agree to be legally bound by the

Minimum Requirements
:

To use Hayu, you must have a compatible device in accordance with the Hayu Terms of Use. You must set up a My TELUS account in order to subscribe and manage your Hayu subscription through TELUS. Hayu is offered as a standalone subscription for existing TELUS in Canada, excluding Quebec. You must be a Canadian and at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your province or territory to subscribe to Hayu through TELUS. Compatible products and services are required. Playback quality will depend on hardware and internet connection. Existing Hayu subscription or new subscription activation is required.

Activation
:

Once you sign up for a Hayu subscription through MyTELUS, you will receive an activation email prompting you to activate your subscription with Hayu. The steps to activate your subscription are outlined below:

  1. A link in the email will take you to My TELUS, where you must log in using your existing TELUS credentials. If there is a delay in receiving the email, you can also activate Hayu by navigating directly to the “Subscriptions”section on My TELUS.

  2. On the “Subscriptions” page where you will see your Hayu subscription listed. You will need to click “Activate Subscriptions”. You will be taken to the Hayu site to complete your activation by creating a new account. a. If you DO NOT have an existing Hayu account, you must create a new account. b. If you DO have an existing Hayu account, you will need to cancel your existing Hayu subscription and wait for your current billing cycle to end before purchasing Hayu through TELUS to avoid being double-billed and keep your watch history and preferences.

Billing
:

For any inquiries relating to billing or payment of your Hayu on Koodo subscription please visit the

. For any inquiries relating to the Hayu service (including technical questions) please visit support.hayu.com.

You will be charged the applicable price plus applicable tax to the credit card that you added on your My TELUS account. New Hayu subscription activation is required. Your subscription will automatically renew, and you will be charged every succeeding month until you cancel your Hayu subscription through your My TELUS account in accordance with the “Cancellation” section below. Kindly note that no bill will be sent to you; monthly charges can be viewed on My TELUS account.

Any additional purchase you may make through the Hayu service will be made directly through the Hayu app and will not be billed through your My TELUS account. For additional information, including details on billing and changes, please refer to the
TELUS Subscriptions Platform Terms of Use
, which is part of your agreement with TELUS.

Cancellation
:

You will be able to cancel your Hayu subscription with TELUS at any time through your My TELUS account. Upon cancellation, your subscription will stay active until the end of your billing period. TELUS may also cancel your Hayu subscription, at our sole discretion without notice to you, if we suspect any fraudulent activity, misuse of your subscription, or violation of these terms, the

, or any applicable law by you. No refund will be given in case of revocation.
