How to use the TELUS TV+ mobile app

Watch live TV and access a large On Demand library of TV shows and movies on your mobile device with your Optik TV, Pik TV or Stream+ subscription.

: Due to rights restrictions on our programming, the TELUS TV+ app will not work while your mobile device is connected to a VPN (Virtual Private Network).

The TELUS TV+ mobile app is available for download on iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 15 and above, or Android smartphones and tablets running Android 8 and above.

The TELUS TV+ app can stream or share content to compatible devices via Chromecast and Apple Airplay.

to download the TELUS TV+ app. You will need a valid Apple ID username and password and your country/region set to Canada.

From the TELUS TV+ Home screen, you can your On Demand programming, browse your , view your recent and see what's new and featured on TELUS TV+. You can also navigate to & at the top of your screen, or to , , or at the bottom of your screen.

All Optik TV/Pik TV/Stream+ customers have access to the live TV content included in their subscription. Live TV will show you what’s on now by category.

During live TV playback in portrait mode, you can view , see what’s and and browse other channels. You can also record your current program by tapping the record icon.

To go full screen, simply rotate your device to landscape mode. You can press once on the screen to bring up program information and turn on (CC) or (AD). A second press will close the information and audio settings.

: Due to content provider restrictions, some channels are only available when connected to your TELUS home Internet.

All Optik TV/Pik TV customers have access to the On Demand content included in their subscription, as well as a selection of On Demand movies available for rental.

: Some On Demand content may have pause, rewind or fast-forward disabled by the content provider.

In the section, you can see what’s playing today and over the next week. Any shows with a home icon in the guide indicate that this programming is only available when connected to your TELUS home Internet. You can also filter your guide by selecting the filter icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Filter options are:

When you select a program that is on now, it will take you to the live TV player.

When you select a program that is airing in the future, it will bring up the episode information page. From here you can watch the episode On Demand if it’s available, set a recording either for the episode or for the series, view showtimes or On Demand availability.

You can use the search function to find a movie, TV show or cast member, using the on-screen keyboard. If searching for a movie or TV series, your search results will include both live and On Demand viewing options for your title. If searching for a specific cast member, your search results will provide a list of available live or On Demand titles where that cast member appeared.

In the section, you will see 2 tabs: and . In the tab, you will see information including program details, the date the program was recorded, and run time. For series recordings, you will see the number of episodes recorded. You can also delete existing recordings or edit your recording settings.

In the tab, you can cancel upcoming recordings, edit your recording settings or resolve recording conflicts. You can also and the views of existing and scheduled recordings. If you have the Recordings bundle included as part of your Optik TV combo, you can also initiate playback of your recorded programs from the tab.
