All Wi-Fi-capable devices which connect to your hotspot will require this password. It is recommended to use a password to prevent unauthorized access, which may result in additional data charges.
How to set up mobile hotspot on an iPhone
Open
Settings
on your iPhone.
Select
Cellular
.
Select
Personal Hotspot
and turn it on.
Your personal hotspot is now discoverable and the default password is shown.
Important
: We strongly recommend changing your password to prevent any unauthorized access that may result in additional data charges. To do so, select
Wi-Fi Password
and enter a new one.
