As a Senior Marketing Manager of events and partnerships for Agribusiness, you will build and execute our events strategy and work with strategic industry partners to position TELUS as a global leader in agribusiness. 

Here’s how

  • Lead the development of high-impact experiences for B2B customers through various in-person and virtual events, trade shows, industry conferences, webinars and business roundtables.
  • Plan and execute activation, event logistics, lead generation/capture, and post-event reporting.
  • Manage existing industry partnerships to demonstrate TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods leadership and maximize business outcomes.
  • Manage budgets and report on ROI.
  • Produce brand assets and swag that align with our B2B purpose, visual identity, and marketing themes by partnering with brand primes.
  • Drive strategic contract negotiation and management.
  • Develop engaging plans, presentations and experiences that are anchored in insights, showcase a story, and link back to business strategy and objectives.
  • Leverage your impressive communications skills as a storyteller and writer to distill complex narratives and engage audiences.
  • Be a steward and guardian of our brand and help evolve our positioning in the market.
  • Provide constructive brand feedback and guidance to stakeholders of all kinds with your key attention to detail.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of event and marketing innovation by researching new ideas from industry experts, agencies, peers, and competitors.
  • Ability to travel internationally to select events

What you bring to the role

  • Degree in marketing or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience with event management, partnership management and B2B marketing.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills with c-suite executives, sponsors, customers, and vendors
  • Must be comfortable with autonomy and able to manage multiple stakeholders and projects with extreme attention to detail and organization skills
  • A collaborator who can work cross-functionally – role requires substantial relationship management both internal and external to the team
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with an ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives
  • Familiarity with the Agriculture industry considered an asset
