As a Senior HRIS Analyst you will be responsible for the evolution and continued development and efficacy of our team member systems. Our commitment is to provide team members with a leading digital experience that is simple, fast and easy anywhere, anytime and on any device.

Administering and optimizing SAP SuccessFactors across the entire team member life cycle will be key to your role. You’ll actively identify process improvements, document business and technical requirements and ensure delivery to specifications working closely with our systems support vendors.

Reporting to the TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods People & Culture Systems Manager, you will collaborate closely with our People & Culture stakeholders to address areas of focus and implement system enhancements to deliver an enhanced user experience, while finding efficiencies for the business.

Here’s how

  • Own, optimize, enhance, configure and troubleshoot key SuccessFactors modules, or other digital tools our team supports (from hire to retire)
  • Collaborate with P&C system vendors to manage roadmap deliverables and build strong working relationships
  • Ensure progress on projects and P&C systems roadmap & deliverables
  • Lead business reviews on vendor support/progress to plan
  • Support translation of business requirements into functional and technical requirements across modules (Transactional – EC, ECP, Time and Talent – PM/GM, Succession, Compensation etc.)
  • Review, configure, test and showcase new features or new configurations in SuccessFactors to meet business needs
  • Provide thought leadership and recommendations by staying abreast of SuccessFactors offerings, solutions and releases
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise across multiple areas of P&C systems including core HR, time, payroll and talent management
  • Lead, coordinate and make systems recommendations as it relates to all M&A assessments and execution
  • Create and execute detailed functional and UAT testing plans for approval and sign off
  • Provide insights and recommendations on ways to optimize the team member’s digital experience
  • Leverage service design principles and agile implementation methodology to implement system solutions and increase team member usage/adoption
  • Perform application system analysis and prepare data flow diagrams to articulate system understanding
  • Coach and foster rewarding working relationships with key stakeholders and team members
  • Support application system analysis to prepare storyboards, wireframes, journey maps and/or data flow diagrams to articulate system understanding
  • Manage incident/escalation processes to minimize system downtime
  • Execute critical system administration tasks including cyclical & year end activities
  • Prioritize incoming demand/change requests and execute change control effectively
  • Provide support as needed to the P&C Systems Manager as a key member of the leadership of TAC People Systems

What you bring to this role

  • Recognized for your 3-5 years of experience in large scale HRIS systems preferably in a SaaS environment such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Fusion or Workday
  • Have a degree in HR, Management, Systems or related fields
  • Experience with improving UX, UI and design of systems
  • Regarded as a collaborative communicator who can partner with and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated customer centric and continuous improvement mindset to find ways to enhance the work life experience for team members
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and independently execute assigned work
  • Passionate about supporting change management
  • Sought out for your analytical, creative problem-solving and diagnostic skill set
  • Are excited about working on the full suite of key work events for our team members (from hire to retire)
  • Have deep and demonstrable conceptual knowledge and understanding of leading HR practices
  • Known for your strong ability to facilitate group virtual presentation and meetings
  • Skilled in MS Software (Excel, Word, PPT), and Google Suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; the ability to write clearly and concisely

Great-to-haves

  • Experience with Enterprise grade analytics tools
  • SuccessFactors SFX accreditations in Employee Central, Performance & Goals, EC Payroll, Learning, etc.
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma concepts
  • Bilingual (English and French)
