Optik TV is a comprehensive TV service that lets you bundle popular streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ with live channels, all in one plan at no additional cost.23 You can then access all your favourite entertainment, all in one place, on the TELUS TV Digital Box.
Optik TV is ideal if you enjoy traditional cable TV with the added benefits of modern streaming.
Stream+ instead focuses just on streaming, bundling together popular services like Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video24 at an unparalleled price.
Stream+ is perfect if you prefer streaming content on-demand and don't need traditional cable channels.
After subscribing to select streaming services22 through TELUS, you will get an activation email from the streaming provider (Netflix, etc.) asking if you are an existing subscriber and if you would like to transfer your membership.
Existing Subscriber: you will be able to link your existing account so you don’t lose your watch history, profiles or account details. Once your account is linked, your billing will be transferred to TELUS.
New Subscriber: if you don’t already have an account, you can create a new one which will be billed directly through TELUS.

. Theme Packs and Premiums are customizable entertainment options within your Optik TV package that allow you to tailor it to your unique viewing preferences.
Theme Packs are groups of related channels or streaming services, like sports, news, or lifestyle, bundled together. You can select the ones that match your interests, such as adding sports channels if you're a fan or lifestyle channels for cooking shows.
Premiums include top streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, or Crave, as well as exclusive or international channel packs. You can choose one Premium as part of your package, and even add more for an additional charge.
When choosing, think about what you watch the most—if you're into streaming, a Premium like Netflix might be your best pick. If you love live sports, then Theme Packs like “TSN & Beyond” or “Sportsnet & Beyond” would be ideal. Keep in mind you can swap your selections each month online through My TELUS so your package always fits your current interests.
